Dunkin’ Halloween Drinks 2026: How Much Sugar Is in Each?

Dunkin’ launched 12 new Halloween drinks on September 30, and the sugar counts are far apart. Four have none at all. A large Creepy Crawler Coffee Chiller has 126 grams of added sugar, which is more than twice the FDA’s daily reference amount. The drink names don’t give much of a hint, so here’s what Dunkin’s own nutrition guide says for each size.

Four Drinks With Zero Sugar

The Green Apple, Midnight Apple, Candy Kiss, and Orchard Twist drinks are all built on Dunkin’ Zero, which Dunkin’ describes in its September 30 announcement as a zero-sugar energy drink. The nutrition guide backs that up. Each has 0 grams of total and added sugars at every size, with 15 to 30 calories. The guide doesn’t list caffeine, so check the Dunkin’ app if that matters to you.

The catch is what gets added. Sour Apple Energy starts with Green Apple Dunkin’ Zero, then adds sour lemonade and Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam. A medium has 380 calories and 48 grams of added sugar. The zero-sugar part stops at the base.

Refreshers and Energy: The Names Don’t Tell You

Refreshers sound light, but the sugar adds up quickly. The Midnight Potion Refresher has 27 grams of added sugar in a small, 41 in a medium, and 54 in a large. The Werewolf Punch Refresher, which adds lemonade, has 42, 63, and 84 grams. The Dark Spell Daydream Refresher, made with oatmilk and topped with Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam, has 49, 64, and 88 grams. For comparison, a medium Mango Pineapple Sparkling Dunkin’ Refresher, an existing menu item, has 29 grams.

That means a medium Werewolf Punch carries more than twice the added sugar of a medium sparkling Refresher. Its 260 calories come almost entirely from that sugar, since the drink has no fat or protein.

Coffee and Matcha Drinks

The coffee drinks vary the most. The Nutty Nightmare Iced Coffee is the lightest, with 21 grams of added sugar in a small, 32 in a medium, and 42 in a large. The Terror-Misu Cloud Latte has 42, 52, and 72 grams. The Franki Matcha has 33, 39, and 54 grams.

The Creepy Crawler Coffee Chiller, a frozen coffee topped with whipped cream and mocha drizzle, has the highest numbers on the menu. A small has 65 grams of added sugar and 600 calories. A medium has 95 grams and 860 calories. A large has 126 grams and 1,140 calories, and 126 grams of sugar works out to about 500 calories on its own. How to Read the Numbers

Nutrition guides list two sugar lines. Total sugars include sugars that occur naturally, such as in milk, plus anything added. Added sugars are the ones put in during preparation, such as syrups, flavored foam, and lemonade. According to the FDA, the Daily Value for added sugars is 50 grams a day for a 2,000-calorie diet. A food with 5% of the Daily Value or less is a low source, and 20% or more (10 grams) is a high source.

The American Heart Association sets a stricter limit: no more than 6% of daily calories from added sugars. For most women, that’s about 100 calories, or roughly 25 grams. For most men, it’s about 150 calories, or roughly 37 grams.

By those measures, a medium Midnight Potion Refresher (41 grams) is above the AHA’s limit for both women and men, and a medium Werewolf Punch (63 grams) is above the FDA’s full-day reference. Every small drink on this list with added sugar still has 21 grams or more. That’s not a verdict on any one drink. It just shows why the line to check is “Added Sugars,” not the name on the cup. We did the same label-reading for Jack in the Box’s Halloween menu.

The Bottom Line

The 2026 Dunkin’ Halloween menu runs from nothing to 126 grams of added sugar in one cup, so the name on the menu board tells you very little. The nutrition guide does. If you want the seasonal flavor with less sugar, the Zero drinks have none, and choosing a small instead of a medium trims the added sugar in the others by about 15% to 35%, depending on the drink. Dunkin’ says more Halloween items are still coming this month, so check the app’s nutrition information before ordering anything new.
