Jack in the Box’s new Simpsons menu has five items — and for once, every single one already has an official calorie count. The names get scarier as the patties stack up (Krusty Burger of Terror, Double Krusty, Triple Krusty), but the calorie math behind them turns out to be refreshingly straightforward. Here’s what’s actually confirmed, and what still isn’t.
What’s Actually on the Simpsons Halloween Menu
The tie-in leans on a simple joke: Krusty the Clown has “taken over” as Jack in the Box’s CEO for the season. The “Treehouse of Horror” lineup has five items. Three are the same burger scaled up by patty count — Krusty Burger of Terror (one beef patty), Double Krusty Burger of Terror (two patties), and Triple Krusty Burger of Terror (three patties) — each with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a new “Spooky Simpsons sauce” on a sesame seed bun. The fourth is the Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror, two crispy chicken patties with Swiss-style cheese and the same sauce. The fifth is a dessert: Forbidden D’oh!Nut Holes, four donut holes tossed in cinnamon sugar and topped with pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles.
Calories by Patty Count: Single, Double, and Triple
The names alone tell you the pattern, and the calorie counts follow it almost exactly. According to Jack in the Box’s own menu page, the entree-only Krusty Burger of Terror is 370 calories. Add a second patty and it’s 530 calories. Add a third and it’s 680 calories — meaning each extra beef patty adds roughly 150 to 160 calories, a jump that’s consistent enough to actually predict. The Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror, which swaps beef for two crispy chicken patties, comes in a bit higher at 730 calories entree-only. The Forbidden D’oh!Nut Holes are the lightest item on the list at 260 calories for all four pieces.

How Much a Combo Upgrade Actually Adds
Those numbers are for the burger or sandwich by itself. Order any of them as a combo — with fries and a drink — and the range gets a lot wider, because you’re no longer just paying for one item. Per Jack in the Box’s own listings, a Krusty Burger of Terror combo runs 370 to 1,950 calories depending on size. The Double Krusty Burger of Terror combo runs 590 to 2,110. The Triple climbs to 740 to 2,260. The Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror has the widest range of the four: 790 to 2,310 calories for the Large Combo. In every case, the jump from “just the sandwich” to “the biggest combo” is well over 1,000 calories — worth knowing before you default to upsizing.

What’s Still Not Public (Sodium, Sugar, and Protein)
This article is for general informational purposes only and isn’t a substitute for advice from a registered dietitian or healthcare provider.
The one number you won’t find yet on any of these menu pages is sodium — and that’s worth knowing too. As of this writing, Jack in the Box hasn’t published sodium, fat, sugar, or protein figures for any of the five Simpsons items, and third-party nutrition trackers haven’t picked them up yet either. That matters because the American Heart Association recommends capping sodium at 2,300mg a day, with an ideal limit closer to 1,500mg, and most Americans already eat well past that. For a rough sense of scale — not the actual number for this menu — Jack in the Box’s existing Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger, a similar double-patty-and-cheese burger already on the regular menu, comes in at 2,190mg of sodium on its own, or 91% of the daily limit. That’s a different sandwich with different toppings, so it isn’t a stand-in for the Krusty Burger of Terror’s actual sodium content — just a sign that this style of burger can land high. We’ve seen this same information gap before with Burger King’s Dragon Ball Super collab, where two of the four items launched without published nutrition facts either. It seems to be a recurring pattern with fast-food collab menus: the calorie count often comes first, and the rest of the label catches up later.
So here’s where things stand: the calorie count for all five Simpsons items is confirmed straight from Jack in the Box, and the pattern behind it — roughly 150 to 160 calories per extra patty — is about as transparent as fast food math gets. The scary names are the fun part. The actual numbers, for now, are the one thing about this menu that isn’t hiding anything.
